The first scene shows a man named Jeff writing a letter fro some one and his actions were found to be little nervous and peculiar then the next scene with zack Jeff’s son and his wife traveling some where returning home back to take the hickey stick which they forgot to take. They were shocked to see his father attempting for suicide and Lynne helped them to bring him out of that critical state. Then they show that his attempt was not first time and the reason behind that as due to severe chronic acute pain.

Then they reach hospital were cuddy hand over the case to house and the crew first misinterpret that it was the painkiller which have made the side effect of liver failure but later they found that it is a neurological problem and they asked them to take MRT for verification of any tumors or lesions. Then they decided for an angioplasty as they thought Jeff has problem of air leakage in the intestine. Then again Jeff attempted for suicide by handling IV tube as tool and the crew reached him at right time and he asked them to leave him but house never allowed him to do as per his wish.

It was not longer time after this incident zack was screaming in pain house predicted it was not true but all other went to help him out in the mean while his father drank the isopropyl alcohol placed in the room and he committed suicide. Then on enquiry zack told just because he was not able to see his father suffering like that he supported his action. At last they found that it is all because of the painkiller which he took have turned his brain receptor off and made the painkillers for the original cause to raise the pain. the plumbing problem in the house home made him to realize the true reason behind the problem off Jeff and the right answer is epilepsy when he realize that the plumber do scratching in the own area to seal the crack.
