Summary of House Season 1 Episode 1 "Pilot"

In the very episode of the famous medical drama called "House MD," there is a very good start given to this drama. In this episode, which is titled as "Pilot," there are many things which are happening a very quick duration of the time. In the first scene of this episode and also the first scene of the drama, a young, beautiful and pretty girl who is named as Rebecca is taking the classes for the kindergarten level and is assisting them to do their works, suddenly Rebecca finds herself in a spot or a moment of bother and then immediately collapses on the floor of the class and she is looking out for some sort of the help from the people around that place.

Then with the help of the person who are around them Rebecca finds her way into the hospital, where the doctor James Wilson attends her. The Dr. James Wilson refers the case to the dr. house. DR house looks into the medical history of the Rebecca and finds that she has undergone some mental deterioration for the past one-month. Then the effort of the Dr. House continues to appoint the three doctors who will be responsible for handling the case related to Rebecca.

The three doctors who are appointed are Robert Chase, Allison Cameron and Eric Foreman. All these doctors are very young in age, but all the three have got immense talents and are very much a medical freaks with great expertise and knowledge in handling the cases. Dr. House finally agrees to take care of this case after much of a talk between the doctors to handle this case. Dr. Lisa Cuddy then warns Dr. House for not showing the intended and the expected level of the interests in handling the cases.

Dr. Eric Foreman and Dr. Allison Cameron decide to take the CT scan of the Rebecca. Then the doctors detected difficulty in breathing Rebecca and has a measure to combat this the doctors decide to give the treatment of the tracheotomy to facilitate some relief in breathing and also the doctors advice that there is a possible chance of occurrence of the biopsy and the case of the vasculitis cannot be detected without the help of the biopsy.

Dr. House recommends Dr. Foreman that he get access into the home of the Rebecca and to find some information of the history, Dr. Foreman is very hesitant to do this, but the strict nature of the dr. house ensures that Dr. Foreman enters into the home. Later on that night, the steroids, which were given to the patient, were found to be having some positive effect on the patient.

The next day, Dr. Foreman gives Rebecca some medical test; she passes on second attempt after initially failing to pass. It is well noted that Dr. House gives the opinion to Dr. Foreman that Rebecca should be allowed to pass away peacefully. After some diagnosis, it is found that the illness was due to some larvae which were present near the thigh region and the danger of the illness was rules and all she needs is the medicines to get recovered.
