House Season 1 Episode 4, Maternity
The fourth episode of the medical drama house titled as the maternity. In this episode the newborn daughter of the Hartiq is not normal and the mother is very concerned about the child since the child has not eaten anything for the last days. The nurse attends the baby and discusses the problems to the doctors and about the bowel infection, which the baby Hartiq is affected upon. The main doctor of the hospital just casually listens to the problem and decides to look upon the case. Dr. House put the new born hartiq in the exhibit a and also checks the baby who is been put in the exhibit b. the new born baby who is on the exhibit b also faces some infection in the body.
Then the Dr. House anticipated that there might be some problem, which might be spreading across the hospitals in the form of the infections, and Dr. House decides to check all the twelve new born babied who are in the different parts of the exhibits. After the completion of the information collection process and the data analysis it is found that the no newborn babies other than those two are affected by the infection.

Even before this investigation is done Dr. Cuddy strongly denies that the baby could be ill due to the spreading of the infection around the hospital. But apart from these cases there is one more occurrence of the illness which are occurring in the body of the new born babies, but in this case it is found that the baby is put in the exhibit which is in the first floor in the hospital and no link can be put between the babies who are affected in the ground floor and the first floor.
The three sick babies in the hospital are affected with elevated levels of the fever and also the blood pressure of the three babies is in the lower range. Since the conditions of the babies are very poor and there are chances that the babies could well die in the period of a single day, there is no time to wait for the results to be out, hence the treatment for the babies are started.
Dr. House insists that the treatment for the babies in the exhibit A and the baby in the exhibit b should be changed. The authorities of the hospital and also the doctors in the hospital such as the Dr. Cuddy refuse the idea of the Dr. House to change the treatment. Dr. House pleads to the hospital authority that but doing this the hospital will be able to save the lives of six more babies; hence due to this request the hospital members accept to these proposal and gives the Dr. House a go ahead sign. He doctor does that and unfortunately the baby who transferred from the exhibit dies. Due to this incident the other six babies were transferred form the exhibit a type to the other type. Autopsy of the bay tells that the death was caused due to the virus.
The doctor changed the treatments to the baby hartiq and gave them good news that the condition of the health was improving.
