Watch House Season 4, Episode 14, Living the Dream
“Living the dream” is the 14th episode in the fourth season of the serial House. This episode was telecasted on May 5th 2008. This episode also features a guest appearance of Jason Lewis. Jason Lewis comes in as one of the opera singers in the episode and supposed to be the favorite singer of Dr. House. This episode also ahs very good rating and believed to have at least 13.6 million viewers, because of which this is considered to be the fourth most watched program on television.
The story of the episode goes like this. Dr. House is a great fan of Jason Lewis and watches all his shows. One day when Dr. House is watching Jason Lewis perform on his shows, he sees some serious symptoms. Dr. House becomes really concerned and starts thinking about Jason Lewis. So finally he plans to kidnap Jason Lewis and test him to confirm the disease. Dr. House kidnaps Jason successfully and wishes perform some test on him. Dr. House tries his level best but neither his team nor Jason and stands against him.

This puts Dr. House into a difficult situation, though he feels that Jason suffers from some questionable disease he could not test and prove it. In the mean time, Jason develops more symptoms. First his alleges start becoming numb and refrained from going out of the hospital and stays in the hospital. Eventually some more tests are performed on Jason and in the course of time become ill and goes to coma stage. The medical team assumes that Jason is suffering from some disease and starts administering antibiotics thinking of all the possible solutions but Jason’s body do not respond to any of the medicines.
Since the antibiotics doesn’t help, Dr. House comes up with some idea and gives steroids assuming that Jason might be affected by floral allergy. This helps Jason and he comes back to life. Then Dr. House conducts floral allergy test and everything becomes negative result. While Jason is about to leave the hospital Dr. House find out that Jason is allergic to quinine and it is very prominent content in the fake gin and tonic that he has to drink all the time in the set.
In the mean time there are stories about Dr. House and Cuddy getting along with their usual stuff. Cuddy makes up with a police inspector and tries to keep her good name. In that situation, Dr. House comes and tries to make fun of her and also about her job. Cuddy also responds back to house to such instances and this also gives an entertaining part to the audience. Also Stories about Amber and Dr. Wilson. In this episode the relationship between Amber and Dr. Wilson is seen to develop.
They both meet up to buy mattress and finally find that each wants a different one. At this situation, leaves the choice to Dr. Wilson to decide on the mattress. But actually Amber wanted to test Dr. Wilson whether he will be able to decide things on his own. So finally Dr. Wilson understands this and ends up with a water bed which he had wanted to buy always instead of mattress.
