Insensitive is fourteenth episode in third season of House. It was directed by Deran Sarafian and it was aired on February 13, 2007 and the episode number is HOU 314. Insensitive was written by Matthew S. Lewis. We have so many guest appearances in the program. The episode commences with a teenager, who falls on ice and her mother takes her to the hospital. Both the girl and her mother are in the midst of a snow storm which is very dangerous and both are arguing inside the car. The girl thinks that her mother concerns about her too much and her mother explains her about the safety.

At that moment the car gets into an accident. Her mother becomes unconscious and she calls the ambulance. On account of Valentine’s Day there is a shortage of staff in the hospital. Dr. Foreman examines the girl and he cleans the wound. He finds that she has insensitivity to pain but she refuses. He proves her by whacking the leg with a stick and asks her to undergo a series of tests. The working team finds that spinal nerve biopsy might paralyze or harm her. But Hannah, the affected girl refuses to co-operate with the team until they tell her about her mother’s condition. Meanwhile, Dr. House enters and shouts at the girl and tricks her and tells her a place where he could sedate her. Since the team had refused to follow spinal nerve process, Dr. House seeks the permission of Cuddy. Dr. House detected that Hannah had a blind date and sees her in a café. Due to this Cuddy gave permission to him.
In the mean time, Hannah gets fever but Dr. House continues with the treatment. Dr. Chase induces pain in her and avoids the nerve biopsy. The problem is located on the part where Hannah could feel the pain. Hannah acts as though she has pain and she threatens the team by saying that if they did not allow her to see her mother then she will jump from the balcony. She is detected with paranoid delusion and Hannah’s legs get paralyzed and she fells down. Wilson finds that Dr. House wants to continue with the spinal biopsy so that he will be able to implant his leg and by doing so he can walk without pain. House suggests that the team can do a safe biopsy instead of the spinal nerve and goes to Cuddy’s house to get the consultation as the endocrinologist does not attend the call. Cuddy explains Dr. House that there was no need to see the endocrinologist in person because she on duty was available. Cuddy verifies his love for her by asking him. Cuddy’s date listens to the conversations. He is very much interested in travel and music while her interest was her job and Dr. House. Cuddy is very much surprised on his observations and towards the end of the episode she is in the bed and she is not able to sleep. Towards the end of the episode House and Wilson go out.
