House MD, is set at a hospital called the Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. Whenever outside shots are required, these shots are actually of the Princeton University's First Campus Center, which is the student center of the campus. No actual filming is done here, however.
All of the filming of House, MD, is done in Century City, California, USA. The scenes are all sets that are built in Century City or local to that area.
A unique feature of the filming for House, MD, is the use of "walk and talk" filming technique. This tracks several characters backwards while they walk around the inside of the hospital. During this type of filming, you can really see Gregory House's limp from his leg injury. There are often people passing around behind them as they walk. They frequently discuss patient diagnosis in various locations - from surgery rooms, to offices, to the clinic.

There’s a typo (which currently also exists on imdb.com) mislabeling it the ‘First’ Campus Center. It’s actually the Frist Campus Center.
in the opening credits of “House”, what college campus/football stadium is used in the aerial view? LOVE THE SHOW – MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!!!
